I have to admit...

I think I am addicted to the gym.  If I could live there I would.    I love the adrenaline,  the endorphins after, and the way I feel the rest of the day.   I also get a break from being mommy for two hours, and if you think  I try to hurry out, you are crazy.  I have been known to check how much time is left, and find something to do, (so Enoch doesn't get cheated out of his play time... right?)

I have been working with a trainer for a few weeks, and I love him.  Curtis calls him my gym boyfriend, and that is probably what he is.  He makes me want to work harder and it is working.  He doesn't yell at me, or demand I feed him, or tell me how mean I am, maybe that is why I love it there?

One day I will post how I have finally reached my goal and have the body I have always wanted, but for now, I am working on it.  One run at a time.

A new day for dinner makers everywhere..

I found this link on my cousin's blog. It is a fun look at what's for dinner. She makes it, takes pictures, lets others review it and leaves the recipe and any alterations she made to it. She plans the menu, and even has a search engine for ingredients. It is fun, check it out and let me know what you think. I put the link on the side bar.

Chicken.. The truth

I'm not sure if I had 50 on the brain, but the real price is $1.40 /pound and the box is 40 pounds.  That is a better price and not such a big box.  Let me know if you are interested.

Chicken Anyone

For anyone who is interested, I am going to place a chicken order next week. Let me know by Wednesday if you are interested. I can get boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.50 / pound. You have to order a 50 pound box, but you can share it with someone if you find the someone. I know it sounds like a lot, but it is really like getting 4 bags from Costco. They come fresh so you can divide them into bags to freeze. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Grandma We Love You

My kids have a great grandma.  She loves to play games, the kids favorite is Life.  They ask to play the minute they walk in her house.  She  is always asking how they are and genuinely interested in them and the things they are doing.  I told her a few years ago that she would have to be extra special to them, because their other grandma has passed away, so she is it.  She has definitely lived up to the test.  Thanks mom, for being great!
